Siesta Beach, Siesta Village – do I really need to say anymore? Siesta Beach has been named the #1 beach in the entire United States multiple time and it’s sugary, white sands are the perfect location for morning brunch, afternoon sun tanning or watching the most spectacular sunsets anywhere on the Gulf. Siesta Village is a beautiful, vibrant, upbeat and fun Village area for the entire family.
Siesta Key is an 8 mile long, crescent shaped island with the Gulf of Mexico to the west and the Bay of Sarasota to the east. Many canals criss-cross the island providing easily-navigable channels for pleasure boats, jet-skis or kayaks. Winter, Spring, Summer or Fall – Siesta Key has it all.
In addition to the award winning Siesta Beach, Siesta Key also has two more wonderful beaches: Crescent and Turtle Beaches. Crescent Beach is known for the extraordinary coral reef – Point of Rocks – which supports an abundant marine eco-system. Turtle Beach is very family-oriented with picnic areas, volleyball and horseshoe pits and is located at the southern tip of Siesta Key.
Sarasota – with a large variety of local restaurants, shopping centers and all sorts of other entertainment – on land or water is just a quick drive across either the scenic North or South Bridge. Following your adventure into Sarasota proper or the surrounding areas, come back to the tranquility of the islands.
